NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
FOR SITE PLAN REVIEW AND ZONING COMPLIANCE
The Village of Sanford Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on June 6, 2023 at 6:00 p.m., at the temporary location at Jerome Township Hall located at 737 W. Beamish Rd., Sanford MI 48657. The purpose of the hearing is to hold a site plan review for a new commercial building in zone B-1 to be located at 362 W. Saginaw Road (corner of Saginaw Road and Center St), Sanford, MI 48657. The proposed business is The Sanford Dugout, owned by Brett & Nicole Cotton. The proposed use is concession-stand type food to support the Village of Sanford Park with potential additional breakfast food and long-term kayak and/or tube rentals.
Written comments on the proposed site plan will be received by the Village at the Jerome Township Hall prior to the public hearing and during the public hearing. A copy of the site plan will be available at the public hearing. The Village of Sanford will provide auxiliary aids or services to individuals with disabilities. Persons needing such services should contact the office of the Village Clerk by writing or calling the clerk not less than four (4) days before the public hearing.
