Sanford's Memorial Day parade starts Monday at 1 p.m. at the St. Paul Lutheran Church. It will make its way to the cemetery, where wreaths will be presented after the parade.
Michigan celebrates its history and craftsmanship by honoring the Log Cabin on the last Sunday in June.
Our Smith Cabin is featured this year on June 27th, 2021. Refreshments are served and special events offered, providing educational and reminiscent fun for our vistiors.
Sanford Lake Association's annual fireworks display will return for 2021. The fireworks will be launched from the Sanford Lake Park and will begin at dark. Access to the park is free for 2021. (Rain day is July 5th)
Join the Sanford Centennial Museum on August 14th, from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. The museum's 1870 train depot will feature exhibits from the Roscommon Historic Model Train Club and local train enthusiasts.
Sanford Historical Society host's their annual Founder's Day event this year on September 10th and 11th, 2020.
The weekend begins with a pancake breakfast Saturday at 8:00 am. Parking and admission to all the events is free.
Since 2005 Parkapalooza has given mid-Michigan the very best end-of-the-summer beach party under the sun! The festival is held on the Sunday after Labor Day in September at Midland County’s Sanford Lake Park. Come join us September 9th for a rockin' good time.
Come out to Sanford Centennial Museum on December 6th, 7th, 13th & 14th from 3:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. for a night with Santa! Enjoy free hot chocolate, cookies, and candy and see the museum grounds lit up in Christmas splendor.
